Version 1.5 is up. What’s new? 2 meter topo maps, area calculation, GPX association, trackseg breaking, qsorted map index file and a slew of bug fixes. We’re handling Terraserver’s “internal server errors” almost unnoticably now.
Backtracking…
10/22/03 – Went for night ride at Starr Pass with Hottie. Beautiful night. It was interesting to hit pockets of warm and cool air. No critters out except a few glowing spiders.
10/23/03 – Took off for Suburban Assault around 530p. I watched the sun set on the Catalina Moutains as I rode through the foothills. At the top of trophy hill on Skyline I setup my light for the descent down Finger Rock wash back to the Rillito. As I was rolling down Alvernon I saw a girl on a green Santa Cruz; wait, green Santa Cruz, it must be Hottie!
We rode back through town, ran into Odin on the way back from school and headed to shop ABE to pickup my Soul Ride packet.
I cannot wait to get out and start this Ride of the Soul. My right leg has been aching, but I think it will be fine when I get out on the course and start pedaling hard. I’m ready to suffer and looking forward to every minute.
But beyond that I really can’t wait to be done with the race so I can move on to more riding fun. There are a number of adventures waiting to be tackled on my ‘todo’ list.
Also — Crimson on 10/27 in Peenix. It’s going to be two action packed days.
