The rides continue.
Grosa, Suburban, Chivo, Long rivertrail spin, Today: Starr.
5 days of solid riding, is it too good to be true?
There is still plenty of resistence. On Suburban I hit something huge that sprayed Slime everywhere, but the tire held until I got home. On the rivertrail it went flat. Then it went flat again. I went to patch it and my glue had tried up.
Today at Starr Pass I flatted again. Then on Golden Gate Jon flatted. The temp was comfy while riding but when we were changing flats it was at least 113 degrees. For a second I wondered, what am I doing out here? Why do I want to spend so much time riding my bike, beating myself up and fixing flats; especially at Starr Pass?
It was only a fleeting thought.
Saturday I’ll be heading out for 6 hours of mtb fun with Peltonen S. Unless I can convince the crew to make the trip to Graham. Then, I will be in heaven for the weekend.
