Version 2.0 is out, finally. Just as soon as it’s out, we’re off for a trip–3 days of backpacking in the Rincons. After the chaos of paper deadlines, taxes, teaching class and getting 2.0 out, it’s time for a break. When I say break, of course, I mean 3 days of strenuous climbing in some very rugged country. Sounds good to me.
This just in from Santiago, who is currently riding from Hermosillo to Mexico City (1200 miles):
[tt]Hey Scot how are you, the other day I ride tru your city Topolobampo at Sinaloa State, ah, the ride starts to get hard, now I gonna come to the mountains, also today I ride to the tropic line of cancer, now i m at Mazatlan having some food,,,,,
Santiago[/tt]
If he’s in Mazatlan that means he’s about 550 miles into it. Santiago is my hero. Here is a photo of his rig next to the “Tropico de Cancer” sign.
