Thanks

Temporary visitors is what we were to the trail. Always moving to the next part looking forward to seeing it and at the same time happy to be done with it. Always moving to the next place to get food water or sleep.

Many many people made this possible. People who made the trail, people who made our bikes and tires which touch the ground all day. People who bring food to the little stores in the middle of nowhere so all we have to do is buy the food and put it in our packs and keep riding. My wife Joan who stayed home, went to work and supported my adventure. Old friends who hosted us in their homes gave us bike parts and made us dinner. New friends who hosted us, opened their homes and guided us on local rides. Family who supported us in our telephone calls and picked us up at the end of the ride. Bryce at Arizona Bikes in Flagstaff who worked after hours to get Scott’s bike back on the road. Thanks to everyone.

Scott Morris who made this website and visualized this adventure planned the route and invited me on it. “a roaring success ” Scott said as we sat at our last camp. I couldn’t agree more.
