It looks like I’ll be heading out on the Arizona Trail 300 route again. This time, going top to bottom (Superior to Mexico).
Umm, yeah, it should be interesting. I felt like I had the northbound direction a little too dialed in. Should be plenty of intrigue going the other way. Most of these trails I’ve only ever ridden northbound, and Oracle Ridge, well, I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it.
There’s a decent weather window. It didn’t line up very well with the rest of my life, but it is what it is.
I’m definitely racing it, all or nothing fashion. Will I be able to resist the urge to coast back home? We’ll see. Either way I’ll get to see the half of the route I missed back in April, and hopefully more.
I’ll be carrying a SPOT, assuming the hand-off from Chad goes as planned tomorrow morning. Tracker page:
Awesome Scott, rip it. Must be tough living smack dab in the center of a multi-day race route. More than a little temptation…
Be strong, ride like the wind.
Hey Scott, enjoy!!
And congratulations on the Bike magazine article (pictures!!).
Awesome.
