Scott just called from Lincoln. So far he has logged about 305 miles. He told me where he slept last night, but I can not remember. This morning when he started he felt great and was riding with little trouble. Unfortunately, as he was going up Huckleberry Pass the nerve started bothering him as well as his IT, hamstring and achilles. With each rotation of the peddle his IT hurts on the down stroke and his hamstring and achilles hurts on the up stroke. It seems as if he is falling apart. Still, to no surprise his completive fires are still burning strong and he sounds determined to stay in the race. He is hoping to get some help with the nerve issue in Helena tomorrow.
