Public WMS
« on: December 01, 2009, 11:28:03 AM »
I searched for some Public WMS and came up with a good (IMO) site with many maps

I tried to use them with TopoFusion without any success

http://www.ogc-services.net/

This site has lots of good info...Am I dong something wrong or does it just not work with Topofusion?

Regards
Matt

That is a list of many WMS services, most of which will work with TF.  Each one would need to be set up and configured separately, though.

I plan to make the configuration process a lot easier in the next version of TF.  There are a few quirks to it right now, but is certainly possible to get servers up and running.  Use the connection strings for the WMS servers that come pre-configured in TF to get started, or feel free to ask questions.  What servers in particular are you looking to try out?

Great!

I mucked around with the settings an changed the server settings from the original (default) settings

Where would I get the values for the default settings ?
