Problems saving .gpx as .kml
« on: May 30, 2013, 09:39:34 PM »
In the past I have not had any trouble saving .gpx as .kml. Both files look good when opened in Topofusion but the .kml is missing a bunch of stuff when opened in Google Earth. Any thought on a fix. Thanks

Hi there,

The data looks like it is all there and loads up just fine in TF (using the kml file).

I am guessing it is a google earth issue having to do with the timestamps and GE's somewhat odd 'playback' function.

Try loading up File Properties in TF and hitting one of the "remove timestamp" buttons that shows there.  If you then save out the .kml without time info, it should all show in GE.

Let us know if that fixes it or not.  I'm not at a computer with GE right now.
