New Download
« on: November 28, 2011, 08:18:41 AM »
I just purchased Topofusion Pro and downloaded it. When I tried to close the program all kinds of strange things began to happen. Basicly I could not clos out of anything. Tried to do a restart and couldn't do that either. I got a dialog that said the program did not install properly. Should I uninstall it and then reinstall.?

I've been trying all day to get this to work to no avail. Can't even install it now. Initially when I had it installed I was unable to close it. My pc was locked up and couldn't do anything. Finally I just pushed the power button and shut it all down as I couldn't do a normal restart. I've emailed Kagi, and Scott but no replies. Totally frustrated and want a refund as this is not going to work on my syst.

Hi there,

First, sorry about the issues.  Second, we can sure do a refund if you are frustrated with it and think that something is amiss. No problem.  It sounds like something that could be taken care by uninstalling and maybe removing anything else TopoFusion was conflicting with (sometimes windows installer is just goofy, but from what I can tell it is no fault of TF's). Or, it may be an
issue with a driver such as your graphics card driver. Updating to the latest version on that would be a good first step to diagnosing the issue.

But I totally understand if you just want to give up on it.  Refund is no problem.  Or we can try to figure out what's up with it.

If someone is asking for money for a driver, you're probably hitting the wrong site.  A number of sites make drivers available for a fee, even though you can get them free from either the manufacturer of the PC or the actual card/device.  Check with the web site of your PC manfucaturer (Dell, IBM, HP, ,etc) first, as you should be able to get any updates there at no charge.  If you don't come up with anything there, then try the web site of your video card manufacturer.
