Help...Trying to download Pro onto new Mac

Hi...
Just got my first Mac (good but frustrating to wean myself off PC). Have MAC OSX (V 10.7.1) and am trying to download Topofusion Pro.  It says the file is there (exe), however, will not RUN it; it will only try to open it as a text file (which is a bunch of garble text).  Note, I'm no computer guru so please throw me a bone in laymen's terms :-)

TF won't run natively on Mac OSX, sorry!  Your options are all pretty complicated ones, but if you use VMWare Fusion (PC/windows emulator) plus Windows, several users have reported that the program runs well.
