Custom WMS Servers & https encryption

A custom wms server, that I was formerly using with success now allows access only over https.
In another software I can activate https for this wms server and then it works flawlessly.
In TopoFusion it seems that there is no way to activate https for a custom wms server, or is there a way?

If it's currently not possible, it would be great if activatable https encryption for custom wms servers could be added for a future version.

I don't believe TopoFusion can access a WMS server over https.

There are other facilities in the software that need to be upgraded to https, so I will put it on the list.
