Scott thanks,
Spent last hour re building GPX from tracks. I've got three tracks, one goes (arrows) east, one west, and a drawn track in between. No out and back.
Join tool, click on west track, then click on east track and get line going off to other end.
- Right click on Reverse track, and get another line going askew before I can do anything else (from raw track end where I click, to one or other original track ends - like if raw ends are points a an b, and other ends are c an d, then I get a line from a to d, or a to c, etc).
- Right click and erase last line gets rid of all changes, and am back to where I started.
If I try clicking on east track first, then west track, same weird lines. Any amount of trying to reverse track results in lines being drawn askew.
Also, drew line to join tracks, line goes same direction that one track goes - Try to join tracks and zap! same askew lines.
Is there any way to reverse the arrow direction of just one track, and save it that way BEFORE joining?
(Several times now when I am drawing tracks, right clicking to save drawn track does not bring up Save menu, and no way to escape Draw function, have to close and reopen TF losing drawn track)
I've attached the three files I am trying to combine into one master file in case there is something wrong with them.. The 'Mt Lassen...' file is considered my master, as it will be the final version. The Verdi Junk is the one I drew, trying to join Mt Lassen and the 'Edgewood...' tracks.
No major rush, as I am mapping out a bikepacking route and will be riding segments this and next year.
Anyway, thanks!
Glen
