There seems to be a problem with Terraserver as of today.
Some tiles are coming in as "map not available" when they actually are. It seems to be random. Recommended strategy at this point is to close TopoFusion and repoen it if you want the tiles to try downloading again.
We'll be watching this issue and if it is a change in Terraserver's behavior we will quickly release a new version with a fix.
Thanks for the patience with this.

Looks like things are back to normal. Please let us know if you notice any other irregularities with Terraserver.

As of today, it seems Terraserver is not serving up B/W aerials, at least for every area that I tried.
We'll continue to monitor this, but if you're not able to download aerials, this is a temporary server issue.
Thanks for the patience.

Slight update: it's not all areas -- some places work just as normal. But others are still returning no maps. The next time you open TopoFusion it will try to redownload any maps that weren't available before.

Now it seems aerials are back online, but topos are out!
This should be resolved soon.

From what I can tell, certain UTM zones are working, while others are completely out.
As of 12:47 MST, 11/26/06
Outage by UTM Zone:
10 - no (west coast)
11 - yes
12 - yes (az)
13 - no
14 - yes
15 - yes
16 - no
17 - yes
18 - yes (east coast)
19 - no (maine)
So it appears less than half the country is experiencing problems at this time. Remember that if you already have looked at maps in your area, you've got them because they are on your hard drive.
We'll keep checking on this....

Update:
Looks like all topo maps are back. Please let us know if you notice any more outages.
Thanks.
