TopoFusion Basic / download ALL maps, all resolutions for a given area
« on: September 09, 2016, 08:09:08 PM »
Right now I'm down loading maps for the mountains of Colorado by scrolling around and zooming in and out.

Is there someway to select a region (say western CO) then say 'download all of the MyTopos, all resolutions' for this regions.

TopoFusion Pro / Re: user maps

Well, I work at a college so I hope I can find a large bed scanner, or cut the map into pieces, scan, then stitch together.

I've been using MyTopo, on screen it's pretty good but when I print the jeep roads disappear. Of course, I could use a better printer.

Basically I want to be able to put my tracks on maps, print them, then use the printed map in conjunction with MotionX on my cell phone, or whatever device I end up with.

TopoFusion Pro / user maps

Just bought Basic, might upgrade to Pro to get "user maps".

My understanding is that if I can scan a map (that I have) into an image I can then use it in topofusion pro?

And my gpx trails can display accurately on the map, after I've calibrated, right?

My chief complaint with US topos, etc. is that the trail that are part of the map are often very faint. But I have a map with the trails very clearly marked. I can use this as a "user map" if I can scan it in?

Now my next questions is how to scan a 2'x2' map, but that's another issue.

Any comments?
