Archived Support / Folder Phantom
« on: April 15, 2008, 08:50:07 AM »
You were exactly right, and that fixed the problem.
I went to my "remove programs" list and uninstalled Folder Phantom, no problems now. I still do not know why or how this Folder Phantom program became associated with the installation of Topofusion. Oh well.....
Thanks for the help!

I just installed the latest update of Topofusion (3.32). I've never had problems before, but now, every time I try to run Topofusion, it tries to install some program called "Folder Phantom" and I get error messages saying path does not exist.
If I keep hitting cancel, Topofusion eventually loads and works, but this happens every time I run Topofusion. Anyone else having this problem? Any ideas on how to fix it? Is Folder Phantom part of the Topofusion install package?

Archived Support / GIS Layer problem

Thanks for your help and timley support, you have a truley great piece of software. I will keep working with the problem, I think you are right, I use a satellite ISP and sometimes I have quirky connection issues. Meantime, is there a way I could manually download the gpx files so I could still use them?

Thanks!

Archived Support / GIS Layer problem

The download never seems to start. When I click the download button, I immediately get the error message. All the preloaded layer files are 0 bytes too. I tried reinstalling the program, and then looking in the GIS directory before I open the GIS window and the pre loaded files are there and intact (3 of them -states, continents and city-small and I can open them as gpx files) but if I click on the download button for any of the preloaded files, I get the error message and the file size becomes 0 bytes instantly. If I click on the download button for the non-preloaded GIS files, the new filename will show up in the GIS directory but with a size of 0 bytes.

Archived Support / GIS Layer problem

I just downloaded  the new ver. 2.97 and am very excited about the new GIS layer capability, but I can't get it to work.
When I go to the GIS layers window and click the download button on any one of the GIS layers (with the "show" box checked), I get the error message "Error = -1". When I look in the C:/Topofusion/Tracks/GIS directory, the file names show up but the file size is 0 bytes. Am I doing something wrong???

Thanks!
