I'm running TF on a Macbook Pro using VM Ware. Everything is working on TF, but I'm stymied on how to insert new waypoints. This action requires you to use the pointer and indicate a waypoint and then hit the insert key. This adds additional way points on either side of the indicated waypoint. This is very useful when adding to an existing track.

But the MacBook Pro doesn't have an insert key, and all the workarounds to simulate this function have not worked is there a way to approach this feature through a drop down menu or some other menu-driven way so that we can avoid the substantial problem of keyboard simulation (which differs for every keyboard)?

Archived Support / Problems with version 3
« on: February 17, 2007, 05:23:12 PM »
Recently upgrade to Topofusion Pro version 3 and am expereincing some difficulties with at least two features:
1. 3D function only displays thin "ribbon" of map. Previous version showed full map and allowed movement using the blue ball. This is no longer possible. This feature no longer usable.
2. The "select points" function no longer shows a rectangle that defines area covered. It flickers, but disappears. Those point that would have been inside the box are still activated (and deleted) bu the box itself is no longer visible during the use of this function.

Is it possible to revert to the previous version?

Archived Support / Moving track points
« on: March 26, 2005, 12:03:22 PM »
Simple question. Am reconciling track data against aerial pix. This involves moving track point to align with visible roads. But when i try using the arrow function it merely creates a new segment. Sure you can achieve the desired results but you end up having to cut the misaligned data, and it's not clear that the newly "moved" data is continuous, or not.

BTW, I also don't see the profiler button on the tool bar???
