TopoFusion Pro / Color Aerial vs USGS Imagery
« on: November 15, 2017, 02:52:52 PM »
Hello,
The attachment shows a section of today's tile download. (Just NW of Mowry mine )
The current downloads look like the Color Aerial Tiles.
They do not look like the USGS Imagery.
Is the key "U" taking us to the Color Aerial Server?
Thanks,
Roger

TopoFusion Pro / USGS Aerials
« on: April 28, 2015, 09:10:29 AM »
Hello Scott,
I'm getting black/blank tiles from the USGS aerials (U) but not everywhere, just in one location so far.
Go to 31 47 40 N  /  110 44 55 W. It is the Madera Canyon region in Green Valley AZ.
Move around you you'll see what I mean. I'm not sure but it appears that a horizontal band of tiles are missing.
Thanks,
Roger

TopoFusion Pro / Open Aerial "Map Not Available"
« on: January 08, 2013, 04:43:39 PM »
Hello Scott,
Just an FYI.
As you know I live in Southern, AZ.
I noticed today that some open aerial tiles are not down loading when zoomed to a higher resolution.
Several would download then a missing tile or two.
Getting msg "Map not Available". There was a similar problem before.
The areas I noticed today were around Mt Hopkins and Mt Wrightson. In fact the Observatory is completely blank.
Also Area around elephant head, and parts of Gradner Canyon have missing tiles.
Roger
Thanks for considering adding the ability to draw in 3D

Feature Requests / 3 D Views
« on: January 04, 2013, 09:58:46 AM »
It would be nice to be able to draw a track in the 3 D View.
It would make it easier to plan a route between peaks rather than over them.
I know contour lines can be used, but in an aerial view the ability to draw a track would be helpful.

TopoFusion Pro / Open Aerial
« on: April 25, 2012, 04:04:54 PM »
Hello Scott,
Having problems again today downloading open aerial tiles. It appears to be related to zooming in/out.
If I zoom out to a very small area the tiles download, as I start zooming in the download will stop.
The colored aerial and My Topo download new tiles with no problem.
I'm looking at an area about 9 mi SE of Patagonia around these coordinates:
31.31.40 N  110.36.38 W
Thanks,
Roger

TopoFusion Pro / Open Aerial
« on: October 13, 2011, 04:17:17 PM »
Hello,
I installed Beta 4.30 today.
When  using Open Aerial tileset,  I am getting many tiles with the "unable to display map for this location and tileset. The map may not exist, or you may need to pan the map to this UTM zone.
They are mixed in with tiles that display properly.
No other tileset seems to have this problem.
I'm looking at southern, AZ around Patagonia.
Thanks Roger

TopoFusion Pro / Problem with Large Colored Aerials
« on: September 06, 2010, 03:51:49 PM »
Hello,
I am having a problem downloading large Colored Aerial Tiles. The drop down menu shows the largest size as 0.003.This is the size that I am having problems with. It seems to be arbitrary, "hit or miss" in some areas.
The area that is giving me problems is East of Highway 82, between Nogales and Patagonia, AZ and areas in the Patagonia Mts. These are first time downloads on a new computer running Windows 7.( I haven't tried other areas.) All the other Colored Aerial sizes are downloading fine, along with the new My Topo maps. Occasionally in the B&W aerial tiles, one out of many doesn't download.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Roger Marquette

Beta Testing / Street View
« on: June 01, 2010, 11:04:16 AM »
Hello,
With V 3.974, when I open TopoFusion it defaulted to the Street View even if I closed the application in the (M) My Topo View.
It was easy enough to switch views.

GPS, Trails, Training / Live Tracking
« on: November 22, 2009, 07:55:14 AM »
Live Tracking.
Hello,
I've started using an Acer Aspire with Topofusion's live tracking feature. They work Great together.
My unit prefererence for Lat/Log in Topofusion are set for Degree, Minutes, Seconds. Is there a way to set the Lat/Long coordinates in Live Tracking to Degree, Minutes, Seconds? It seems to default to Decimal Minutes.
Thanks,
Roger Marquette

I started getting the following error msg today when using colored aerials.
“Unable to display map for this location and tile set. Topo/Aerial maps cannot be displayed across UTM zones.”
I’ve never seen this before.
Help…Please.

Roger

Are there instructions for "Live Tracking" in the User Manual?
If not, can anyone suggest where I could find "Live Tracking" instructions?
I am going to purchase an Acer computer and wanted to try live tracking on my Garmin map 60Csx
Thanks,
