Hi Scott,

You have summed up what I am trying to do perfectly. I think my problem is I have used Basecamp for years and it is getting used to a new way of doing things. As you're no doubt aware in Basecamp as soon as you cut the file it splits into two files. It is just the way I have been used to these things for a few years, maybe thinking about it in 9 out of 10 cases the way Topofusion works is neater and more efficient!

I found the merge tool save as very useful. And the code idea sounds a very good one also.

My 'problem' at the moment is I have a 850 mile cycle ride and I wish to split this into first six days as separate files and then split each day into legs. But thinking about it splinting the legs may be as easy left in the same file.

And the last question. I can't seem to see a way of plotting a route to follow roads?

Excellent package by the way  :)

Hi thank you for allowing me to join the forum.

I have just been playing with Topofusion, mainly for joining, and editing tracks. Is there a quick way of importing one long track (file I think it is called in Topofusion) and then splitting it and saving them as seperate GPX tracks? I have managed to split and save as one file with multiple tracks in and have also noticed with the merge tool I can save the tracks individually. But it would be handy if it was less of a work around.

Transfusion looks a very good package. I'm currently a Garmin Basecamp user, but basecamp seems less stable and feature rich and I'm looking for an alternative.
