Archived Support / error in downloading total milage

I just completed a great bike ride and purchased TF.  My FR201 shows 98+ miles but when I downloaded the ride into TF it shows only 66 miles and 250 points?  I have scanned the other topics but could not find a definate answer or downloading protocol to help with this error.  Why why why?
