Export Elevation Data
« on: May 16, 2008, 08:23:17 PM »
Would it be feasible to enter a route and then export elevation data for that route over fixed intervals?  I am trying to get the elevation data for a 500 mile route in more specific detail to computer estimated times for a cycling event.  I have been looking around to find something that would export elevation every mile or less.  The only way I can see how to do this currently is to position the cursor over the route at certain intervals and hand record the elevation.

Just a note - we added this ability to the latest beta version (out as a public release soon).

If you go to the Lap Analysis feature you can set an interval.  Then exports to .CSV contains various statistics at that interval, and as of v3.36+, an interpolated elevation at that point is also there.

500 mile route?  What event?
