Open Street Map ?
« on: April 07, 2009, 06:20:20 AM »
Hi,

For those of us not covered by your fine selection of maps, is there any way you could add the Openstreetmap.org tiles to the list? Sure, they may not always be complete, but hey, a little bit of something may often be better than only the LandSat 0.0625 tiles.

Besides, this could also potentially help with additions and editing of OSM which would then be available to make Topofusion shine even more.

You might try the Openstreetmap.org site for info or possibly Cloudmade.com since they also provide API tools for OSM. Opencyclemap.org tiles would also be great especially since they contain Topo data.

Thanks for your product and continued enhancements to it.

Robert

In a never ending attempt to answer my own questions ...

After looking around a bit I could only find three organizations that offer WMS of OpenStreetMap data and those services are only for Europe.  :P  I am in Korea.

But I did find a little more info for the OSM tiles. If interested ...

Have a great ride (day).

Good work, thanks for the info.  I did look into this a few weeks ago, but couldn't find any actual WMS support.  I'll take a look at your new links.
