toggle maps off, can't point edit gpx points

If I toggle map display off (without topo or photo maps) to just see the gpx lines and points and try to edit (select) points, it just doesn't do anything. turn maps back on and editing continues as normal. perhaps a design feature to keep one from editing without seeing where you are?

Huh!  You're right, it doesn't work.

Not intentional, since select points with the box tool still works.  I'll get it fixed for the next version.  Thanks for noticing.

It can be nice to edit with the map off since it's easier to see what the track is actually doing.

Hmmm... I need to sign up for the beta.  This may fix an issue I have not reported yet in 3.07.  After loading a track, I will remove all the points that drift around when I stop.  I cannot isolate the behavior enough to get a good bug report, but suddenly, you cannot select some points.  Save, Close, reopen and that stuck point can be selected and deleted.  It is wierd because sometimes you cannot select a point and delete it, others you can select it, but it does not delete, and once in awhile, none of the track points are selectable.
