Climbing Analysis Erroring out
« on: March 25, 2004, 10:57:29 AM »
Whenever I go into Climbing Analysis before first going into 3D mode, I get the following error and topofusion disappears:

Run-time error '-2147417848 (80010108)':

Automation error
The object invoked has disconnected from its clients.

If I go into 3D mode before using Climbing Analysis it works fine.

Thanks

Mike

Mike,

Thanks for the detailed bug report.  Another user had reported the same error, but was unsure what behaviour was causing it.

There is likely a problem in the DEM interpolation code, but I'm unable to reproduce the bug in my version.  We'll just hope that it's been fixed (things have changed significantly since the last beta) and have you guys test it out.

I can provoke this reliably by trying to analyze a track that crosses or is near a boundary between two DEM regions if I haven't first done a 3D rendering.
