Combining multiple tracks into one?
« on: August 14, 2007, 10:16:06 AM »
Is there a way to combine/merge multiple tracks for the same trail into one "average" track using TF?

I have several instances of track data for a trail segment. Of course, they barely ever overlap ( '' ). Is there a way for TF to "fix" this?

You could try the network tool.  Track averaging isn't the purpose of that algorithm, but as it reduces things it will use the average.

Give it a try.

This post might help.  It has my experiences with averaging.
