Export View Question
« on: April 23, 2005, 08:48:26 PM »
Can TopoFusion save a map as a graphic image if that image is larger than the current screen? ExportView only captures the current screen.

For example, I want to capture an map image of a GPS track with 4x magnification that is just a little too small to fit on the screen. If I zoom out to get it all in I have to go up to 16x. I allready have my screen resolution set to the largest size. I wanted to try to save the whole thing in 4X, even if it means scrolling to see the edges of the graphic map.

Yeah, I understand what you want.  There's no way to do that right now.  If you want it to use smaller tilesets, change the tileset preference to "shrink" in the options dialog.

Is this issue being lookied into?
Possibly this is a capability to add as I see this as the only real limitation in exporting.

Yep, we are working on a way to do this.  Dozens of people have requested this feature, including myself.  Yes, I even requested it of myself.
