display track in +GMT
« on: January 07, 2005, 02:05:48 AM »
Hi,
I'm evaluating your product as I would like to use the multi track playback feature for sailing races analyses.
Unfortunatly I get a runtime error when I save a track after GPS transfer (runtime error 13 : type mismatch).
I can open the file, but when I center map on file, I get only a dot on a 1180miles zoom page and I cannot zoom in.
What is the problem, is it because I have a +GMT location (+4° E) ? Do you have a fix ? When I manualy change the values for the W location and add a "-" before each trackpoint value then I get a correct track display but in mirrorview.
(I don't need to use the maps, as our activitues are always on water.)
I use Garmin Foretrex201 and Garmin GPSMap60C
Kind regards,
Jan

Great, thanks for the posts.  There was a problem with some tracks outside the US, but it's been resolved in the beta as you saw.  Also, you should be able to get satellite images for your tracks now.  (the nasa imagery is available for most of the world)
