Merging multiple GPX files into one

I would like to be able to save all of the tracks that I have loaded into a single GPX file - in such a way that I could reload this single file and everything would look the same as it did with the original multiple tracks loaded.  The profile/merge track tool doesn't work for two reasons.  The first is that it actually connects the tracks, which I don't want.  The second is that if I have many tracks it is a pain to select them all using this method.

I have also tried selecting everything with the rectangle select tool, then choosing 'save as' from the file menu, but this gives some strange results, I'll leave out the details.  Is there some way to do what I want?

Also - a 'reverse track' feature would be nice.

There currently is no way to merge multiple tracks into a single GPX file without actually merging them into one track.  You'd have to select them all, and then cut them later.

How about if you select the files you want in the active list, and then right click to choose "save merge as..." ?  That seems like the best way to add it to me.

You can reverse tracks.  Just select one with the merge/profile tool and then hit the 'v' key, or, with the track selected, right click somewhere on the map to get a menu with a "reverse" option.  If you're merging multiple tracks it'll only reverse the last one added.

Thanks for the tips... I figured there must be a way to reverse a track, and it seems like I must have tried the right click.  Anyway, I'll give it a shot again.
