Title: Changing Waypoint Symbol??
Post by: tymbee on March 18, 2007, 12:34:34 PM
If I understand the help correctly:

Quote
Using the select point tool you can right click on Waypoints to get Waypoint menu that allows you to edit a waypoints attributes.

it seems one should be able to select the symbol they want to use for any given waypoint. However this is not working for me. Am I missing something?

For example, I'd like waypoints that represent a town to appear with a certain symbol, those that represent  geographical landmarks another.

You're not missing anything, TopoFusion is.  We still don't have support for graphical waypoint symbols.  Symbol data is stored, transfered and not lost, but there are no graphics for the symbols.

Hopefully soon.

Krein,

When you do add graphics, how about linking to a .bmp file that could be edited? NGS Topo! uses this sort of file for 'shapes' etc. and it's easy to edit them to suit.
