Error Uploading Tracks

I just realized when uploading a track from Topofusion 2.70 to my Garmin E-trex Vista and then back down to Topofusion, the date stamp on the tracks had an extra 20 years added (eg. tracks form 2006 now had a 2026 date). I discovered this while trying to figure out why some of the tracks would not link to photos in photofusion. Not sure if the problem is in the GPS or in topofusion.

Two things I would like to see in a future release of topofusion -

1.  Ability to click on photofusion icons and see the associated photo (or at least a thumbnail).

2.  Ability to insert gps exif data to photofusion photos and th ability to watermark photos with GPS and time data.

Thanks for the info re: time adding.  I believe I have noticed this myself in the past.

Actually, 'saved tracks' are not supposed to have time at all.  But the active log should work.  It's probably a problem on TF's side.

As for photofusion, we are planning an upgrade to the functionality, likely including the features you listed.  Esp. number one.

Thanks for the response. To clarify, it was the active log I was trying to upload and download. I found out the saved tracks lose their time stamps the hard way. Not sure why Garmin did this, but oh well.

One additional piece of info on this... I have done this before using garmin's software and have not had the date change problem. Also, I might add that when I tried this procedure with a Garmin GPS V it lost the time data completely (when using mapsource). The GPS V has an older version of Garmin software though, and less track memory so that may have something to do with it.

I'll look forward to the improvements to topofusion with much anticipation.
