area measurement

I can't seem to find an area measurement tool. We would like to use the software for Search and Rescue Tracks showing coverage in a predefined area.

Draw a track, then right click and save it.

Now right click on the track again and select "compute area."  It's not a well documented function unfortunately.

I drew a dummy closed track and was able to calculate the area. Thanks!
