KF rolled into town and with no notice we were out riding.

Ride K.

KF is among the best technical riders I’ve ever seen. Cleaned everything on Krein save the two “unrideable” sections, that I’ve never seen anyone ride. Impressive for a first run.

We ran out of time, with the wives waiting back at the Starr Pass lot. Shut out of a Hidden Canyon loop.

Next day was some Fifty year fun.

Chad rolled the wall with little sign of fear. You have no idea how frightening it is to look off the edge, from the top.

Louis was able to oblige as guide. We headed for Buddha, and almost ran out of time again. I refused to not run Buddha since we were already up there. Good choice.

I rode a couple sections I had always walked before, and confidence was at a high with the new brakes. But, in a rush, it was still difficult to roll too much. They waited for me as the clock ticked.

I rolled back into town, resisting the Hot ‘n Ready temptation. I had a few hours to get ready for the next ride: Antelope Peak.
