Just got back from a suburban assualt ride. Another cool morning to be thankful for. Things are still clear here and my knee is doing well, so there is much to be grateful for.
I flatted in the best possible place along the route. There is a small patch of grass that is shaded by pine trees. I must have run over a piece of glass or something because slime was shooting out all over the place. A rare, enjoyable tire change in southern AZ.
Being memorial day meant that no one was out on the roads too. Double bonus. There were exercisers a-plenty on the rivertrail, though–even a few comical ones. I tried to ride up on the wall where the rivertrail goes under campbell. I didn’t have enough speed so I dropped like a rock back to the trail. It was weird feeling.
We’re off to backpack in the Pusch Ridge Wilderness tomorrow morning. So the next beta and full release will have to wait. You know where our priorities are, dood.
