The sun sets. Time to attach lights and ride out from the house.
The crew, led by Mark Flint, pedals past on the river trail. I catch up.
The bats fly. Right on schedule.
A ghost rider coasts through the Sunrise Rd. culvert.
Jobie followed me on the B-lines, and rode most of them despite running lights more suited to bikepacking than fast night riding.
The lines are getting smoother.
Sand challenges at the end of the trail were not much of a challenge.
Smiles were big. New trails (for a number of folks) have a way of doing that. Could have been the perfect night, lack of mechanicals and good group of riders too.
The moon didn’t rise early enough to be useful, unless you consider moon-gazing on the ride home useful — which I do.
I’m sitting on a backlog of pics and this post is a week overdue. If you weren’t suspicious and didn’t know that the full moon was a week ago you need to get out more. 🙂
Noser likes to get out.
