I ride up or down this road 4 or so times a week, but today I ran into this:
“Flagman ahead.” I couldn’t help but laugh–on today of all days. Of course I flipped the flagger the bird and blasted through. [Joking]

My knee is healing up, I think, and there have been some good rides in spite of it.
Ute Valley was a new one. Not much there, but all good stuff. Worked well for me, ’cause I can’t ride very long anyway. Paula and I explored just about every trail out there, and I succeeded in scaring myself at least twice while playing around on the rock.
Off to Utah for an extended weekend. Riding? Yep. Long? Nope. š
Good to hear the knee is improving. I guess it’s making sure you don’t blow right through your good form, eh?
So, going to Utah eh? Isn’t that the other side of Durango from you?
I’m going this or similar on Sunday: http://teamhealthfx.com/blogs/dave_harris/archive/2006/06/18/1313.aspx. Wanna come? It’s jeep road ala GDR. Seems fitting.
Would you believe the period killed the link?
