I’m out at the Desert Museum this week for the Recreation Modeling Workshop. A number of people from around the country (and world) and from various gov. agencies are here to talk about modeling, the state of the art, and where to go from here.
I threw together a little poster about GPS, modeling and my approach (TopoFusion). I feel like I should be promoting my work, but I refer to my character where it becomes clear that it’s just not in me. So, perhaps someone will take interest, perhaps not. Either suits me, really.
I’ve never been one for these all day affairs. Actually, after about 50 minutes I start to lose interest and wander into other thoughts. But somehow I made it (some of it was very good) and was rewarded with a nice walk at Brown Mountain afterwards. I walked a while, then sat a while and watched the shadows creep across the valley. Electric sunset ensued, then I drove home.
For now, more modeling… and more healing of the knee…
