Just bought Basic, might upgrade to Pro to get "user maps".
My understanding is that if I can scan a map (that I have) into an image I can then use it in topofusion pro?
And my gpx trails can display accurately on the map, after I've calibrated, right?
My chief complaint with US topos, etc. is that the trail that are part of the map are often very faint. But I have a map with the trails very clearly marked. I can use this as a "user map" if I can scan it in?
Now my next questions is how to scan a 2'x2' map, but that's another issue.
Any comments?

Hi there,
Yes, that's correct. User maps should do what you are looking for. Have you tried myTopo for a basemap as well?
Scanning a 2' map could indeed be challenging, good luck!

Well, I work at a college so I hope I can find a large bed scanner, or cut the map into pieces, scan, then stitch together.
I've been using MyTopo, on screen it's pretty good but when I print the jeep roads disappear. Of course, I could use a better printer.
Basically I want to be able to put my tracks on maps, print them, then use the printed map in conjunction with MotionX on my cell phone, or whatever device I end up with.

Yep, for that, TF's feature is a good one. The tracks you want to show up should be clear and crisp.
