Too many custom maps?
« on: August 06, 2013, 01:11:25 PM »
I am new to TF and am having an issue with maps on my Oregon 450.  I am using the Pro version.  I can download .kmz maps and load them to the micro sd card in the gps.  When I turn it on though, I get the message "Too many custom maps, not all maps will load" or something very similar (don't have the gps with me right now).  The gps will indeed display some of the map data but no where close to all of it.

I downloaded and transferred two MyTopo maps, each below the 100 tile limit.  What am I doing wrong?  Does the 100 tile limit apply to all maps downloaded or each file individually?  If it applies to all, I'm not going to be able to cover hardly any area at all.

Thanks.

Jon
