pictures with position

I have a GPS that takes georeferenced pictures, but I cannot get them into topofusion. I read some stuff here on how to do it, but the window to bring files in does not seem to recognize .jpegs.

Any suggestions?

Using V 4.60. Not sure if it is basic or pro

Here is what it said on the forum:

You should be able to create a new, blank gps file, (use File->New) then have PhotoFusion use that file.


Point to your photos with the JPEG directory, and make sure "place pictures as waypoints" is checked (it should be by default).  When you hit Begin PhotoFusion it will notice that you have EXIF coordinates already in your files and ask if you want to override them with GPS track data.  Hit "no", then you should see all your photos come in as waypoints in the new file.  Hit the photo toggle to see the thumbnails, etc.

Hi Jimmy,

Sorry about the late reply here.  I have been off the computer a long while (as posted in the announcement forum).

The code looks for both .jpg and .jpeg files.  If there's already EXIF data, you should just point the PhotoFusion dialog to your directory, and away it goes!  The checkbox mentioned above will be checked already.  You should see it toward the middle of the form.  Maybe you are not quite looking in the right dialog?  Go to Analysis->PhotoFusion and go from there.
