Photo Symbol
« on: February 23, 2009, 12:17:02 PM »
Although the waypoint image on Photofusion looks like a camera and is not unpleasant:  <sym>Photo</sym> is rendered fairly ugly in MapSource:

<sym>Scenic Area</sym> is what Garmin uses for their camera and of course it looks just great on their map. TF also seems to handle it just fine.

Is there a way to resolve this ugliness? Short of manually changing everything?

I get little black squares in Mapsource, not those flags.  Maybe you have an older version?

In any case, it's not the cool camera icon.  I'd consider changing to "Scenic Area" especially if other software expects / uses that.  I'll make a note to take look.

Thx.

I was using MapSource 6.14.1. Updated to 6.15.3. Got the same ugly flag.

This is NOT a really big deal to me but would like something more attractive if it's not a big project.

Thanks... Bob
