Title: New Version Doesn't Want To Load
Post by: Alpine on November 03, 2010, 06:00:07 PM
Well Scott, your newest version doesn't want to load on my machine. Again.

I had some troubles and had to Format the hard drive. So it came time to reinstall Topo Fusion and it failed to load.

Here is the Error Log:

Could it be that I need a more advanced driver fro DirectX?
Just spent three hours downloading other stuff.
Thanks,

Hmm, yeah those are pretty fundamental errors, suggesting that you either don't have DX9, or your video card's driver doesn't support DX9.  Look for updated drivers for your graphics card.  Let us know how it goes.

Yep you were right.

After Windows got done installing all the service packs to bring it up to date, most of the drivers were reverted back. Updated all the drivers, and wall-la: TopoFusion worked once again.

Just let me say here that if I ever get my hands on one of those people that makes or spreads mal-ware or virus, or any computer harming code...

SSS is my motto.

Thanks again Scott for a great product.
