Title: Is it possible to import custom garmins kmz maps into topofusion?
Post by: apocalypso on May 21, 2013, 10:35:14 AM
Hi guys,

I'm totally new here so please be gently with me :)

Currently I0m using Garmin's base camp which has an ability to use custom maps in kmz format, maps like one you can find on this link:

http://garmin.com.hr/Download.aspx?file=http://garminhr.hr.win1.cloud.hr/data/download/PP_Biokovo.zip

So I'm curious is it possible to use this map in Topofusion PRO version? Also is it possible to use Google or Bing maps for displaying tracks?

Thanks in advance,
Teo

Hi Teo,

Right now TF can't load .kmz custom map files, though it can produce them!  kmz files with regular kml (vector) data can be opened, but not image/map data.

It's on the todo list, for sure.

I answered your Google/Bing question on the other thread (and by email).  ;)

Thanks,

Scott
