Creating Routes (newbie question)

I can't seem to find an easy way to create routes of commented waypoint. If I create the waypoint I can't seem to assemble them into a route in TF that can be downloaded to my Garmin (assembling them into a route once downloaded sucks). If I create a track, it can be downloaded as a route but has no comments (commenting once downloaded is even worse). What am I missing.

Sorry, TF's support of waypoint commented routes is pretty limited.  You've hit the two biggest limitations on the head.  Unfortunately I can't think of a way to assemble such a route *and* upload it properly in TF.  It's my fault -- I just use tracks, and have never thought of using waypoint routes.  But I can see some advantages...  Sorry.
