MyTopo Storage
« on: July 13, 2010, 02:40:15 PM »
MyTopos are awesome. So much so that I have been making them into "custom maps" going through a painstaking (Screenshot > Save As JPG > Geo-Reference > Export as KMZ) process. Now TopoFusion 4 has made my dreams come true!

I use Global Mapper at work and I'm able to stream some types of maps, imagery and data through a WMS server. So my real question is: Can I do that with MyTopos or are they stored in a different manner?

Thanks Scott.

No, the myTopo server is not WMS, and is only available in TF as a result of a partnership between our two companies.  The tiling scheme and access method is different.

Glad TF4 is saving you some time!
