GPX draw order

This should be a simple question. If I have two gpx tracks that overlap or cross over each other, is there a simple rule or control for which one shows "on top"?

Seems like the last track loaded is on top.

It would be nice to have the option to change the display order by date of GPX, so newest is on top.

Squid is correct, the files are drawn in the order they were loaded.

You can do one thing to control it.  When you double click on a file in the active list it will zoom to show that file, and also force it to be the last file drawn.  So you could do an ordering by double clicking on the files in the order you want.

I'm not sure it's a feature too many people would want (even with different colors it seems like draw order isn't that important).  But I could think about how to include options to control it.

Glad to know the workaround. It's not something that bothers me very often either. But occasionally I have overlapping tracks and want to have control over which one I'm really looking at. It's nice to know I can do that without having to unload and reload tracks.

The reason I like to change the order is that I will load a track from my GPS, then I'll load older GPX files to compare my tracks.  It's nice to have a way to put the most recent one back on top, and Scott's method works great for this purpose.

I found that right-clicking on the track in the map window has the great option to "Highllight File in Active List", so finding the file in the list when there are lots of files loaded is plenty easy.  No additional programming is needed to add this as a feature as far as I am concerned.
