Title: 3D download problems

Just downloaded 3.32 on to a new comp and it works fine till I try to go 3D. I get an error message saying it can't contact the elevation server, sometimes it freezes as well. I've checked TF's access in my firewall and it's allowed both inbound and outbound.

I'm running it on a workstation with 4G ram and a Nvidia FX Quadro 3450 btw.

Yep, unfortunately the elevation server is having problems right now.  There's a post in the announcements forum about it.

I'm going to see if I can get an update on it from the server admin.

Ah, I didn't see that. I keep dropping the terra server too, must be a similar issue.
