Looks like the OnEarth server is experiencing downtime. See:

http://onearth.jpl.nasa.gov/

Until the server is back up (they say as soon as possible), TopoFusion won't be able to download Landsat tilesets or 3D data.

Topo, Aerial, Urban and 3D through DEM will continue to work just fine. We'll post again when the server is back up.

Side note: Beta users should still be able to get Landsat images since the beta accesses the cached server data.

Lucian Plesea, the brains behind the OnEarth server, has told us that it will be a few days until the server is completely online. As I stated above, some services are available (beta version can get Landsat tiles, for example). But the elevation dataset will not be available for a few days.

The server is actually up, but DNS records and firewalls take some time to get cleared on the JPL (Nasa) side.

We'll keep checking and post here when things are back online.

Still down... but not responding which is a good sign that they might be updating DNS records or something.

Hopefully it'll be back up tomorrow (Friday).

As of this morning, 12/18/06, the OnEarth server is back up with both 3D and Landsat downloads!
