Archived Support / 3.0 failed installation

I don't know about that... I would swear that I've run other directx apps before.  Could be wrong, though.  I'll try again for drivers.

Archived Support / Merging multiple GPX files into one

Thanks for the tips... I figured there must be a way to reverse a track, and it seems like I must have tried the right click.  Anyway, I'll give it a shot again.

Archived Support / Merging multiple GPX files into one

I would like to be able to save all of the tracks that I have loaded into a single GPX file - in such a way that I could reload this single file and everything would look the same as it did with the original multiple tracks loaded.  The profile/merge track tool doesn't work for two reasons.  The first is that it actually connects the tracks, which I don't want.  The second is that if I have many tracks it is a pain to select them all using this method.

I have also tried selecting everything with the rectangle select tool, then choosing 'save as' from the file menu, but this gives some strange results, I'll leave out the details.  Is there some way to do what I want?

Also - a 'reverse track' feature would be nice.

I would like to create my own basemaps, along with my gps routes, from pre-existing maps.  What I really need is to trace the roads on a road map, which I will add to my trail data.  There are other ways to do this, but it would be most convenient if it could be done in topofusion!  I have already purchased topofusion, but I will try out expertgps tonight because of this feature.

Yes, I totally agree that not being able to upload a normal track to the Edge is totally lame.   They could have at least made it possible in the Training Center software to convert a gpx file to a course, but no.  You can't even export gpx!   I am happy with the Edge, but it could be much improved, with only firmware updates.

Thanks for the tip about merging tracks...  I figured there must be a way.

I recently purchased a Garmin Edge.  It would be nice if Topofusion could create a "course" from a track and upload it to the unit.  Currently I can only upload waypoints from Topofusion.  I have found a tool that will convert a gpx file into a course, which I can then upload with Garmin Training Center, but if this could be done in topofusion it would be much easier.

Also, I wish there was a way to merge/combine tracks from the main mapping page.  Just like how you can merge tracks together when you download from the gps.  Maybe this is already possible but I haven't figured out how?  Right now I'm using a text editor, which is a pain.

Right, The regular Topo and Aerial tilesets are US only.  Landsat covers almost the whole planet I think.

I recently moved to Germany and I'm also dissapointed by the low quality landsat data.  It's not even worthwhile making a map.

I have found, however, that Google Earth seems to have much higher quality data available (this is near Berlin, Germany).  Any chance topofusion will be able to access this data in the future?

Is it possible to export images at higher resolution than what is currently displayed on the screen?
