AZ Color Aerial outage

The AZ server is up and responding, but giving an 'internal server error'.  Occasionally it serves a tile, but mostly it's just the error.

This is as of this morning 9/24/09, 7am AZ time.

You'll get a 'tile missing' error in the meantime.  We'll continue to monitor this.

It seems to be improving, but I am still getting intermittent bogus tiles.

Earlier in the afternoon the server giving a different error, so they are definitely working on it.

Curious - I am getting 100% success with tiles if I set the "number of connections" (options->preferences->internet) to one.

We'll see if they open it back up to more connections as things improve.  For now, this is a workable temporary fix.  The tiles still come in fairly fast.

Still giving quite a bit of the 'internal server error' message, and not serving tiles.

I do have an alternate source that I will swap in if this server proves unreliable.

AZ Server is back and serving faster than ever!  Woo!! 

Multiple threads are A-OK!

They must have upgraded their hardware.

Issues with this server continue.      

I will start investigating the alternate.

I have received a response from the folks at the AZ server and they are looking into the problem.  Right now they think it is an ESRI bug, so it may be a while.

The next beta version will have a change to use a different server with slightly different but similar quality images.

Beta 3.91 is out with the new AZ server.  It doesn't seem like the original server is going to get their act together, so we'll switch.

Should be out in full release form later this week.

v3.93 is out with the new AZ server.  Zero problems so far with it, and I've been downloading like mad from it.
