Title: 3 D Views

It would be nice to be able to draw a track in the 3 D View.
It would make it easier to plan a route between peaks rather than over them.
I know contour lines can be used, but in an aerial view the ability to draw a track would be helpful.

Good suggestion, thanks.  Drawing and picking in 3D is a hard problem, but might be one that's fun to tackle.

Being able to click on tracks and points in 3d would be handy too.
