Nope, I just neglected to test the script before leaving for an afternoon ride. Sorry about that.

Try it now and it will work.

Hello,

I'm sorry to report there was a bug in the "backup" GPX writing feature. It turns out that only the backup copy was being saved and NOT the file you select in the dialog.

It was a bizzare bug, but it's fixed in the current version on the website (2.76). So before downloading any more GPS data, please update to the latest version.
